As part of the activities for its 30th anniversary, BLUESAFE Cuba, in collaboration with its strategic partner and supplier BLS, conducted a series of specialized seminars on Respiratory Protection for its key clients across the country. Held from September 1st to 5th, the events spanned from the eastern to the western regions of Cuba, reinforcing the company's commitment to workplace safety and innovation in protective equipment.

These seminars aimed to update participants on the latest regulations, best practices, and technological advancements in respiratory protection—a critical area in industrial, construction, and healthcare sectors. 🏭🏗️👷‍♂️ Each session combined theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, including equipment demonstrations and videos simulating high-risk environments.

The tour included sessions or remote connections from key locations such as Moa, Bayamo, Santiago de Cuba, and Havana, reaching over 100 professionals from leading companies in the mining, energy, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and service sectors. Attendees received certifications endorsed by Bluesafe and BLS, aligned with current international standards.

  • International standards and national protocols for respiratory protection.
  • Identification and evaluation of respiratory hazards (gases, vapors, particles).
  • Selection, use, and maintenance of respirators and associated equipment.

Practical case studies tailored to Cuban realities, with an emphasis on sectors such as mining, energy (oil, gas), and the chemical-pharmaceutical industry.

The partnership with BLS, globally recognized for its expertise in respiratory safety equipment, allowed for the incorporation of cutting-edge technologies in the demonstrations, including positive pressure respirators and air purifiers with specialized chemical filters.

 

These seminars reflect our three-decade dedication to protecting Cuban workers. Together with BLS, we are driving a tangible shift in the national safety culture.
